The offered collection of coveted plastic coins from Sherriff Desserts and Salada Tea is a near-complete run from the 1961-62 NHL season. These 1-3/8-diameter colorful plastic coins feature serrated edges and color player likenesses. With Gordie Howe, Bobby Hull, Alex Delvecchio and Jacques Plante in the mix, the gathering includes complete team runs for the Chicago Black Hawks, Detroit Red Wings and Toronto Maple Leafs (the Black Hawks and Maple Leafs coins are adhered to company-issued plastic display shields). Of a possible 120 coins, all are present except #12, #16, #19 Boston Bruins; #84, #89, #90, #92, #93, #95, #99 New York Rangers; and #114, #115 Montreal Canadiens. The collectibles show (EX/MT) quality throughout with adhesive remnants on the reverse of some.
